Science and Industry Seminar at Madrid+d forum

This Forum is an initiative of madri+d that focuses on the creation of an space of cooperation among of the researchers comunity, and companies and institutions seeking innovation. Ten tematic lines were defined allowing the monografic presentation of the scientific and tecnologic innovations of 2008.

One of these tematic lines is the ICT, relevant, without any doubt, due to its horizontality, for various sectors. Among the programmed activities, the Seminar Science-Industry and Transfer of ICT was celebrated the 11th of november at the UPM School of Telecommunication Engineering.

The meeting was of great interest because of the many bilateral meetings for technology transfer that took place. The objective of these meetings was to promote the technological industrial cooperation among the companies, organisations and research groups of the ICT sector. Particularly, the research groups of FADOSS and BABEL, members of Promesas, met with relevant companies discussing their latest tools developed.

On the event the new madri+d catalog was presented, which includes the tecnological offer in ICT, the services offered by the APTE Network of Transfer of Tecnology and the R+D Programmes of the Madrid Regional Government which represents examples of innovative multidisciplinar research. One of these programmes is Promesas.
