Thanks to all who responded.
The problem with NCD terminals and fonts using Solaris 2.6 as a boot host
is multi-faceted:
1. Solaris 2.6 in.tftpd has a bug which does not return a NAK for
requests for non-existent files. Instead a timeout occurs.
2. The standard /usr/dt/config/Xsetup script which appends potentially
non-existent font directories to the NCD X server's current font path.
Problem #2 coupled with #1 can cause the NCD temrinals current
font path to be reset to just the built-in fonts.
Possible approaches to avoid this:
1. Replace the Solaris 2.6 TFTP server with a Solaris 2.5.1 TFTP server.
2. Disable the additions to the current fotn path in
/usr/dt/config/Xsetup.
3. Modify the NCD terminal's remote configuration file to use the
Solaris 2.6 font server instead of TFTP to download font files.
