Don't know about a2ps, but enscript, nenscript, & genscript will make
PostScript versions of ASCII files, and I would expect to find a package
for one of those at sunsite.unc.edu.

Rick Kelly <rmk@rmkhome.rmkhome.com> who wrote

Get enscript from prep.ai.mit.edu. It compiles out of the box on
SunOS 4.1.4.

Christophe Colle <christophe.colle@telenet.be> who wrote

genscript or nenscript are tools which do what you want. Both are known on many archie-servers. genscript is available at anygnusite (like ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/)

<Jean-Philippe.LEROY@st.com> who sent me a copy of version 4.3

Have you tried with /usr/openwin/bin/mp command?

"Birger A. Wathne" <birger@Vest.Sdata.No> who wrote

I can't remember if mp was included in SunOS 4.x. I think it was.
I think it was included with OpenWindows, so look in /usr/openwin/bin.

Your best bet would probably be to try one of the public versions of
enscript:

enscript-1.5.0: ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/enscript-1.5.0.tar.gz
nenscript-1.13++: ftp://bode.ee.ualberta.ca/pub/HPUX/dist/Text/hpux9

Either one can convert ASCII to PostScript.

you can pick up enscript (perhaps called genscript) from a GNU
distribution site. does what you want.
