Original Problem:
On a Sparcstation 2, Solaris 2.5, with a CG12 graphics card, I could not run Openwindows or CDE. The error message complained that the proper device drivers could not be found.

I reloaded the Solaris 2.4, the upgraded to 2.5, this still did not function.

At this point I re-mounted the 2.4 CD and installed the CG12 drivers from there (packages 50-56).

The system is up and functioning correctly at this point.
