SUMMARY: Solaris x86 on Micron Transport

Well, I have yet to actually try loading Solaris x86 on
anything, but the general consensus is that it would
be wise to stick to "known" compatible computers - a
favorite being specific Toshiba models (Satellite 410/
420, 500 models, 740).

But being a rather stubborn and inquisitive type, I'm
planning to proceed with attempting to get Solaris
working on a Micron Transport anyway! Micron has assured
us that we could return the machine within 30 days if
it doesn't work, so we would then have the option of
spending mucho mas on a comparable Toshiba. I'll let the
list know how it goes, in case anyone else cares...
