As for the ability to refuse connections from particular domains,
this is possible with the current release of sendmail. Many of you
were able to infer that my ultimate goal is to be able to refuse spam
mail. Several suggested using the Scheck_mail and the Scheck_rcpt
rulesets. Several also suggested possibly using TCP Wrappers to
refuse mail from particular sites.
The following URLs have great information concerning the topic of
blocking spam mail:
http://www.sendmail.org/antispam.html
http://www.informatik.uni-kiel.de/%7Eca/email/check.html
http://www.nepean.uws.edu.au/users/david/pe/blockmail.html
In summary, I plan to upgrade to Sendmail v8.8.5. Then I will try to
use the Scheck_mail and Scheck_rcpt rulesets to suit our needs.
