Previous: Multiple Specialization: Example
Conclusions
- Analysis information can be used to simplify programs.
- Simplifier (parametric w.r.t partial domain) implemented.
- Novel framework for multiple specialization developed.
- Achieves the same results as the most powerful of the previously
proposed ones [Win92].
- Using a generic analysis engine.
- Integrated for the first time in a LP compiler.
- And experimentally evaluated in program parallelization:
- Reasonable size of resulting programs.
- Affordable computational cost.
- Encouraging performance improvements.
- Also promising for many other program optimizations.
