The responses centered around the prtvtoc(1M) command (which you give
the full path to the raw device). For example
/usr/sbin/prtvtoc /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s2
or using the format(1M) command (from Pascal Gaudette's reply):
# format
<choose a disk>
format> partition
format> print
