I appreciate all the help recieved.

Original question:
I deleted a huge file (990 Mb) with a rm command in a filesystem
that
was about 1100 Mb.When i checked with df -k the filesystem usage was
still showing 990Mb and 95% full.
du -s showed that only 6 blocks were present on the filesystem.Rebooting
fixed the problem.
Anyone experienced this problem before on solaris 2.5.1 bug?Any patches
available?

Answer:
General concensus among answers,

Use fuser or lsof to identify which process is still using the file and
terminate it.

Thanx to all who replied:
