Quick fix for Win95 DoS attack:
Look on your Win95 machine for "Vnetbios.vxd" files and rename them.
After, reboot the system (shutdown completely and power-cycle).
This seems to solve the problem.
Two places I know that contains Vnetbios.vxd:
\windows\system\
\aol30\net\osr1
^ or your favourite AOL directory :-)
I dont know any additional ramifications of removing these files,
but I do know they "fix" the problem.
I suggest the only real way to do it on a large scale basis
is to filter off port 139 at Term servers, routers, firewalls, etc.
