Project Aims

• Provide and evaluate formal tools for development of parallel programs and their efficient execution.
  1. Apply emerging techniques for formal program analysis and manipulation to problems in parallel execution
     • dependency analysis
     • granularity analysis / control
     • partitioning
     • memory management
     • program development and understanding, etc.

  2. Build tools for formal development of parallel logic programs.

  3. Integrate tools with practical parallel execution platforms.

  4. Assess effectiveness of the tools in such platforms.
